FAQs
The Answers You Need... Hopefully
Is there a waitlist to get in?
There can be. As a well established and highly reputable care home in a beautiful location who is proud to say we have people living here for many, many years of their life, we do often find ourselves with a waiting list. However, we do also pride ourselves on our ability to help people in their desire to return to their home where possible which means at any moment, we can have rooms. So it is always best to get in touch and ask. Even if you don't need something now and you're just at the early stages of contemplating it; get in touch. If you do join a waiting list, there is no commitment!
Can i pay a holding fee?
Sure! if we have gone through the admission process and we all feel it is a perfect fit but you're not ready ready to move in yet, then we can discuss a holding fee to keep the room open until the time is suitable. Get in touch to discuss how this works!
Can respite become long term?
Absolutely. Swan Hill is a family, and family support each other as much as they can, for as long as they can.
We find many people use a two-week respite period to trial us and trial the idea of a care home.
